In The Studio
Ted currently teaches ballet on faculty at the Institute for American Musical Theatre in NYC, and is a guest faculty member of Broadway Dance Center. Other teaching credits include The Sacramento Ballet School, the Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts, and Indiana University’s Elective Ballet Program, as well as masterclasses for UNCSA’s Preparatory Ballet Program and Cleveland’s Playhouse Square Broadway Summer Camp.
Trained in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet curriculum, Ted's classes also draw inspiration from his studies with such notable teachers as the late Violette Verdy, Duncan Noble and Melissa Hayden. Additionally, he is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and loves to address movement imbalances by incorporating principals of personal fitness training.
Whether in a class setting or one-on-one, Ted aims to provide a positive environment for all dancers to build a strong technical foundation for a healthy and successful career.
